JSU was Approved Promoting Scientific Cooperation and High Level Talent Cultivation Program with Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America

Recently, China Scholarship Council released the 2022 Promoting Scientific Cooperation and High-level Talent Cultivation Programs with Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. The program entitled Treatment Strategies for Repairing the Damaged Heart Based on Immune Microenvironment Regulation with Canada under the International Cooperation and High-level Talent Training Program jointly applied by Professor of International Genome Center of Jiangsu University (JSU) Su Zhaoliang and Professor of School of Medicine of JSU Zhang Xu, was successfully approved, with only 25 projects approved nationwide.

The training program has been implemented by China Scholarship Council since 2018, entrusted by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges under the Ministry of Education (MOE). This program aims to promote long-term and stable cooperation of scientific research and develop communication among universities, colleges and research institutes in China and those in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Latin American and Caribbean, Pacific island countries.

The implementation of this program will deepen the joint scientific research cooperation between JSU and its partner, the University of Western Ontario, Canada. It also plays an active role in promoting the combination of international scientific research cooperation and high-level talent cultivation, and nurturing a large number of young academic leaders and backbones, thus enhancing the abilities of international scientific and technological innovation of JSU.
