JSU Wins a Special Award for CNCEE

The national finals of the 9th China National College Students Competition on Energy Economics (CNEE) was held in Xuhui Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University from May 19 to 21. The finals were hosted by the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics, organized by the Low-carbon Development and Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics and Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Undergraduate student from School of Finance & Economics of Jiangsu University (JSU) Jin Shunlin won a special prize of the undergraduate group of the 9th CNCEE. He is also the first undergraduate from JSU who has won a special prize in this competition.

Founded in 2015, CNEE was officially listed in the Ranking List of College Students Competitions in 2023. This year’s competition has attracted 6,148 teams comprising of over 7,000 instructors and over 12,000 students from 423 universities nationwide. After the university-level preliminary competition and regional competition, 720 projects from 31 regions were selected to enter the national final. In the end, a total of 97 teams from 69 universities advanced to the national finals after expert evaluation.

Starting the preparatory work in November last year, JSU has attached great importance to this competition. A total of 31 students participated in this competition. In the end, one project won a Special Award and 2 projects won the Second Prizes. The certificate of the Special Award was conferred by Academician Chen Xiaohong and Academician Lin Wen.
