22 Scholars of JSU Listed among "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2022" Published by Elsevier

On March 28, Elsevier, a global information analysis company, published its official list of “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2022”. The list contains the names of 5,216 scholars, representing 504 universities and colleges, scientific research institutions and enterprises. Among them, there is a total of 22 scholars from Jiangsu University (JSU) increasing by 3 compared to last year.

According to the number of scholars entering the list, JSU ranks 50th in China, covering 10 first-level disciplines. Among them, Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Science, and Engineering have the largest number of academics in the list, with 4 academics each. There are 3 academics respectively in the Mechanical Engineering, and Clinical Medicine.

The scholars on the list cover 10 disciplines and 84 first-level disciplines of the Ministry of Education, among which 416 are highly cited scholars in Chemistry. There are more than 200 scholars in Biology, Materials Science and Engineering, Clinical Medicine, Physics, Computer Science and Technology.

The Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2022 systematically presents the current distribution of cutting-edge talents in scientific research, and the composition of the superior disciplines of various scientific research institutions, universities and enterprises, so as to empower the sci-tech and social development.
