On June 1, the opening ceremony of the THE Asia Universities Summit 2021 is held by Japan’s Fujita Health University under the theme of “Crossing Boundaries, Unlocking Creativity.” It brings together speakers from top university and industry leaders from around the world. Prof. Yan Xiaohong, President of Jiangsu University (JSU), Prof. Quan Li, Vice President of JSU, Associate Prof. Huang Ting, Director of International Office, Prof. Wang Changda, Vice Dean of Graduate School of JSU attended via the video link.

Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of science and technology, Beijing Normal University, Nankai University, Xiamen University, Jilin University, Wuhan University, Jiangsu University and other domestic universities were invited. The experts and scholars at the summit exchanged views in research and innovation collaboration to address common challenges.

The three-day virtual Summit is taking place in partnership with Fujita Health University in Japan from June 1 to June 3. The summit’s combination of keynote speeches, participatory debates, case studies and panel discussions supported delegates as they considered these agenda themes: Creativity arising across boundaries, addressing challenges and Universities supporting society.
