On April 19 and 20, 2020, With the approval of School prevention and containing sub-group of the COVID-19 prevention and containing work team of Jiangsu province’s leading group, the postgraduates officially returned to JSU campus in the spring semester of 2020. According to the principle of "staggering, batching and shunting", at present, 4333 postgraduates have completed their return to school. The overall work is stable, orderly, safe and efficient.

Prof. Yuan Shouqi, Chair of JSU Committee, Prof. Yan Xiaohong, President of JSU and other university leaders conducted on-the-spot supervision to ensure the postgraduates safe. All the staff, volunteers provided comprehensive good services for those students. And the students wore masks, lined up at intervals, measured the temperature consciously, cooperated with the inspection, and entered the university through the special channel, all in good order.

Jiangsu University coordinated the Zhenjiang Public Transport Co., Ltd to set up a bus line for postgraduates to "point-to-point, one-stop" safely and orderly directly arrive at the campus, reduce the risk of contact and cross infection between students and other passengers. JSU also got strong support from many offices of Zhenjiang City municipal government, such as epidemic prevention and containing leading group, Education Bureau, Public Security Bureau, Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, Health Commission.
