Recently, the Office of the Provincial Department of Education (Information Office) with the assistance of the People’s Network Jiangsu Channel carried out a series of publicity activities on "interview with the Principal of the Secretary" in order to conscientiously study, publicize and implement the spirits of the provincial educational conference, further understand and study its spirit and create an overall pleasant learning atmosphere. As JSU is one of the 20 interviewed universities, Yuan Shouqi, Chair of University Committee, gave a talk to the People’s Network, introducing the mental outlook of learning from the past and moving on to the future for implementing the requirements of the provincial education conference. The title is "Persevering on the Mission of Serving the Agriculture Modernization".

During the interview, in terms of "Implementing the Spirit of Jiangsu Provincial Education Congress to Promote the Implicit Development of Higher Education” theme, Yuan Shouqi introduced the exploration of moral education in JSU, especially as a national model university of "Three Full-education". Through practice and efforts, JSU is exploring the "JSU model" and "JSU program".
