The Cooperation Seminar between Jiangsu University and Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences was Successfully Held

On May 21, the cooperation seminar between Jiangsu University and Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences was successfully held in the Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology of JSU. The meeting was hosted by Director Yuan Jianping.

At the conference, Yuan Shouqi, Chair of University Committee of JSU, delivered a speech on behalf of JSU and welcomed the experts and leaders of the conference. He also gave a brief introduction on the running situation, the advantages and characteristics of the university, and the future development goals of JSU. Zhu Junqiang, Director of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, proposed the cooperation intention of the deep integration and complementary advantages. Li Wei, Deputy Director of Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology of JSU, introduced the progress on the dominant disciplines of Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology, School of Energy and Power Engineering, School of Automotive and Traffic Engineering, and Institute of Energy Research. Yang Yuanzhi, Deputy Director of Department of Personnel and Education of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a briefing on the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Yang Guishan, Dean of the Nanjing Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences introduced the training mode and cooperation mode of the college.

Quan Li, Vice President of JSU, stressed in the exchanges that he hopes the two sides will exert different advantages in student resources, teacher resources and engineering project resources, form a cooperation mode of mutual exchange and complementary advantages, and strive for a new breakthrough in joint application for engineering doctoral programs with professional degree.
