In November, learned from Università degli Studi di Padova(UPD)in Italy, European Erasmus+ Program for Higher Education Inter-Agency Student and Staff Exchange Agreement (2018-2020), which was applied by Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology, Jiangsu University and Industrial Engineering Institute of Università degli Studi di Padova has been approved by European Commission.

Erasmus Program (European Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) is a student exchange program established in Europe in 1987. On this basis, in 2014 the European Union created the Erasmus+, an exchange program for all current education, training and youth sports. According to the Erasmus Impact study, graduates of the Erasmus+ program have been paid much higher than the average in the job market. Erasmus+ not only helps to improve the future, but also provides students with a broader perspective and connections to the world.

In recent years, Jiangsu University has carried out close and fruitful exchanges and cooperation with Università degli Studi di Padova in Italy, and signed two MOUS on the comprehensive inter-university cooperation agreement. They also have carried out substantial work in the joint training of graduate students, the construction of laboratories, and the exchange of faculty staff, which achieved remarkable results. They trained the first Chinese and foreign doctoral dual-degree student of Jiangsu University.

This agreement’s approval will further support the comprehensive cooperation between our two universities, such as the construction of the International Joint Research Center for Fluid Engineering Equipment Energy Technology.
