The Ministry of Science and Technology of China announced the list of 2017 National – level International Joint Research Centers. The International Joint Research Center for Energy Saving Technologies of Fluid Engineering Equipment from National Research Center of Pumps (NRCP) of Jiangsu University was successfully selected as one of the two in Jiangsu province.

The International Joint Research Center of Fluid Engineering Equipment is constructed by Jiangsu University in China in jointly efforts with the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in France, Technical University of Kaiserslautern in Germany and the University of Manchester in UK, and so on.

As of now, there are 210 National-level International Joint Research Centers nationwide. The International Joint Research Center for Energy Saving Technologies of Fluid Engineering Equipment of JSU has established an international talents team with strong cohesion, multi-disciplines and high research level focusing on energy-saving design technology, intelligent control technology, and advanced manufacturing technology.

The International Joint Research Center will be an international platform for attracting and condensing international talents in the scientific and technological highlands, the integration of production, teaching and research, and the transformation of achievements in order to integrate global scientific and technological resources through international cooperation, enhance the capability of independent innovation of fluid engineering equipment in China, and further promote the international cooperation of fluid machinery and engineering of Jiangsu University.
