Four JSU Researchers Top the List of Most Cited Chinese Researchers for a Second Time

On Feb. 27, 2017, Elsevier released the List of Most Cited Chinese Researchers in 2016. Topping the list once more are four researchers from Jiangsu University (JSU), namely, Pro. Xu Huaxi, Prof. Li Huaming, Prof. Yin Hengbo and Prof. Chen Yizhou.

Drawing on the methods and standards developed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy Co. Ltd., the List of Most Cited Chinese Researchers in 2016 is a result of analyzing the worldwide influence of Chinese researchers based on reference data anchored on Elsevier’s Scopus. Recognizing 1, 744 researchers across 40 different subject areas, the List of Most Cited Chinese Researchers in 2016, compared with that of 2015, has seen an increases of 121 researchers.With the increase of China's influence and status in science and research across the world, it is of particular importance to evaluate and reward outstanding researchers leading the world in scientific research.
