Vice President of Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics visited JSU

Prof. Terashita Youchi, vice President of Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Information and Minister Jiang Dan from the college’s Recruitment Department of Overseas Students visited JSU on April 7th 2016. President Yuan Shouqi met with the delegation at the Conference Center along with officials from the International Office, the Language & Culture Center and the School of Art

President Yuan Shouqi greeted the guests with a warm welcome and gave an overview of Jiangsu University. Prof. Terashita Youchi gave an introduction of Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics. Based on the mutual understanding, the two parties reached a preliminary agreement concerning joint training in the fields of media art, animation design and visual communication, and short-term projects.Afterward Prof. Terashita gave an academic lecture titled “The freedom and independence of knowledge—— IT technology in the field of art design”. He was also given a tour to the Art Creation Laboratory and Animation Demo Laboratory of the School of Arts.

The Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGI) was established in 2004 as part of the KCG Group. KCGI is Japan's first IT professional school with adjunct masteral programs in Applied Information Technology (M.S. IT) on Web Business Technology and Web Systems Development. KCGI is ranked among the top five Management of Technology (MOT) educational institutions in Japan by the International Strategy Design Research Institute (ISDR).
