The Department of International Collaboration of the Ministry of Education (MOE) of the P.R.C. announced that JSU achieved the autonomous enrollment postgraduate quotas for the 2016/17 academic year, receiving a grant of nearly RMB 2 million yuan. At the same time JSU also began the specific education student scholarship program of cultural exchange between China and the USA, with no limit to the numbers. This is the first time JSU accepted the commission directly from MOE’s International Department since beingqualified to select and train full-time graduate and undergraduate students in the program. This signifies that JSU’s International students’ education programs are recognized by MOE, which lays a solid foundation of improving the education level of ouverseas students at JSU, and highlights the characteristics of overseas students’ cultivation. This also provides a better condition for JSU to enhance international outreach.
