Rudolf Mandorfer, CEO of Steyr Motors (Europe) and team visit JU

November 18, Rudolf Mandorfer, CEO of Steyr Motors Co. Ltd. (Europe), Mr. Michael Heinz and Mr. Raymund Gradt, respectively Consul General and Consul of Commerce of Austria’s Consulate General at Shanghai, Mr. Wu Xiaobai, Chinese CEO of Steyr Motors Co. Ltd., and Professor Karl Anton SKrivanek, Guest Professor of Jiangsu University visited Jiangsu University. They were interviewed by President Yuan Shouqi of Jiangsu University, who briefed to them the development of Jiangsu University and its international strategies.

During their stay in the campus, Rudolf Mandorfer attended the ceremony of hiring him as a guest profess of Jiangsu University and gave a lecture titled “Steyr Motors, M1 engine family, hybrid technology and range extender”.

Mr. Rudolf Mandorfer is the CEO of Steyr Motors Co. Ltd. (Europe), who invented the hybrid power unit for ships and won awards for his inventions in Austria and America. He has been constantly striving to promote the cooperation between Steyr Motors and China’s motor industries, had a good rapport with Jiangsu University and donated a state-of-art 4-cylinder diesel engine of the M1 family.
