Professor Inuzuka Yuuji and colleagues at Japan’s University of Shimane visit Jiangsu University

November 23, Professor Inuzuka Yuuji and his colleagues at the University of Shimane in Japan visited the School of Foreign Languages of Jiangsu University. They were interviewed by Professor Wang Baotian, Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages and Jiang Yonghua, Director of the Overseas Students Center of the International Office.

During the meeting, Professor Wang Baotian introduced to the Japanese guests the history and development of Jiangsu University, particularly the development of the School of Foreign Languages. Mr. Jiang Yonghua, in addition, briefed to the guests the international strategies of Jiangsu University. In turn, Professor Inuzuka Yuuji gave an introduction to the international cooperation activities as well as the discipline setting and specialties and advantages of the University of Shimane.

Then the two parties went on to make concrete negotiations on the exchanges of overseas students and the procedures of applying for a postgraduate program. They finally reached an initial agreement on furthering the cooperation work in some fields of interest.
