Uni. of Texas associate prof. makes academic speech

On May 25, associate professor Bai Yidong from University of Texas paid a visit to Jiangsu University. He made an academic speech entitled recovery of mitochondrial function ---- exploration of therapy of mitochondrial diseases in No. 3 Lecture Hall of the Conference Center. In the speech, professor Bai introduced related research work of therapy of mitochondrial diseases and exchanged his views with some teachers and students. Dr. Bai Yidong is part-time professor of Jiangsu University. He graduated from Department of Biological Sciences, Columbia University and received his Ph. D. Degree there. He once followed professor Dr. Giuseppe Attardi, an internationally renowned researcher who studied mitochondria, mainly engaged in related research about basic research of mitochondrial function and metabolism, mitochondrial mutations and disease .
