JU stands first in selective competition of China Exploration activities in Jiangsu province

The first round of competition, in Jiangsu province, of 2012-2013 China Exploration, a cultural activity for international students in China was held on Xianlin campus of Nanjing University during March 16-17. The selective competition was sponsored by the Education Department of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, and hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Students’ Physical Education Association and Nanjing University. 10 teams made up of 80 international students and 20 Chinese students attended the opening ceremony. Jiangsu University’s team is made up of students from 9 countries: China, Ghana, Thailand, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Cook Islands, Congo, Rwanda and Palestine. In the four competitive events, Jiangsu University’s team made a good performance and achieved the highest score of all the teams. Jiangsu University’s team is eligible for the next round of selective competition for the region of Southeast China.
