JU’s 2nd Inte’l Culture Day activities held

On the afternoon of December 30, Jiangsu University’s 2nd International Culture Day sponsored by Youth League Committee and School of Overseas Education was held in the Stadium of Jiangsu University.

Assistant president Li Hongbo attended the opening ceremony. 19 Chinese and foreign Peer Volunteers were honored, and the ceremony of accepting the donation of Wuji Co. Ltd. International Students Enterprises Scholarship Fund was held. The 1st International Culture Day was successful. The 2nd International Culture Day attracted more international teachers and students from 54 countries and regions, including America, Canada, Sweden, Turkey, South Korea, Thailand, Nepal, Pakistan, India, Ghana, Sudan, Congo. From the international culture display, we appreciated African primitive dance, Thai traditional dance, Black song and other traditional national costumes. The Chinese students responded the international students’ excellent performance by playing guzheng, bamboo flute, and national dance.
