JU delegation led by Fan Ming visits Austria and Denmark

December10-19, a 4-member delegation led by professor Fan Ming, CPC secretary of Jiangsu University, visited Austria and Denmark. The 4 members were from Personnel Department, Library and International Office. The delegation visited Austrian University of Graz and Danish Aarhus University. The delegation had an extensive talk with president of University of Graz professor Christa Neuper, director of International Office , dean of Confucius Institute, and director of Library.

The two parties reached an agreement on cooperation in language, culture and library management, and signed an agreement about jointly building Chinese-German Language & Culture Center. At Aarhus University, the delegation visited the university’s Nanocenter, including the labs, where Dr. Dong Mingdong works.Secretary Fan had a discussion with Aarhus University’s president Lauritz B. Holm-Nielsen about how to develop a top quality university. The two parties reached an agreement about cooperation in talents cultivation and academic research.
