Prof. Wu Zongsen from Wilfrid Laurier University visits JU

Invited by School of Mechanical Engineering, professor Wu Zongsen from Physics and Computer Department of Wilfrid Laurier University visited Jiangsu University from November 16 to 17 with Liu Hanwen, a Grade 2006 student of Optic Information Department. On the afternoon of November 17th, professor Wu made an academic report titled “Optic Information and Technology Frontiers and International Talent Cultivations”. In the report, professor Wu introduced the present situation and development prospect of the optical information science and technology specialty and had a retrospection of 2+2 international joint education cooperation between optic information science and engineering specialty of Jiangsu University and photoelectron specialty of Wilfrid Laurier University. Meanwhile, he also introduced the development and present situation of the students of all previous years majoring in 2+2 optic information science and engineering international joint education cooperation. During the report, professor Wu Zongsen and student Liu Hanwen had a warm interaction with the students majoring in optic information. Student Liu Hanwen introduced his own experience in persuing the 2+2 program.
