On September 4, memoranda of cooperation for two overseas demonstration centers of the China-Bosnia and Herzegovina “Belt and Road” Joint Laboratory for Smart Agricultural Technology and Equipment (Under Preparation) were signed. This marks key progress by the Joint Laboratory in substantive development and overseas demonstration and application. Chinese representatives attending the online signing ceremony included Zou Xiaobo, President of Jiangsu University (JSU) and Executive Director of the Joint Laboratory.

The two demonstration centers are the Demonstration Center for Green Processing Membrane Technology of Agricultural Products, jointly built by JSU, Jiangsu Jiumo High-Tech Co., Ltd. and the University of East Sarajevo; and the Bosnia and Herzegovina Smart Agriculture Demonstration Center, jointly built by JSU, Jiangsu World Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., the University of East Sarajevo and the University of Banja Luka. The establishment of the two centers is an important practical step by the Joint Laboratory to deepen substantive development, bring China’s smart agricultural technology and complete sets of equipment to Central and Eastern Europe, and achieve localized demonstration and application.
