Following review by the Inspec Editorial Board, Journal of Jiangsu University (Natural Science Edition) and Journal of Drainage and Irrigation Machinery Engineering, both published by the Periodical Press of Jiangsu University (JSU), have passed evaluation and will be indexed in Inspec from 2026. This is the first time the two journals have been included in this leading international database, marking a significant step forward in the internationalization of JSU’s academic journals. Both journals have previously been indexed in major Chinese and international retrieval systems, including Scopus.

Compiled and published by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Inspec is one of the world’s most authoritative and widely used abstract databases for engineering, physics and computer science. It currently holds more than 29 million records from hundreds of authoritative publishers worldwide, covering disciplines such as physics, electrical and electronic engineering, computer and control engineering, information technology, manufacturing engineering and materials science. Inspec applies stringent selection criteria, focusing on science and engineering journals with high academic quality, distinctive disciplinary features and strong influence in the global academic community.
