From October 12 to 15, the national finals of the China International College Students Innovation Competition (2025) were held at Zhengzhou University. Jiangsu University (JSU) secured two gold awards and three bronze awards, marking two historic breakthroughs. It was the first time JSU won a national gold award in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Category of the Main Track, with the project ranking first in its group and advancing to the ranking rounds. And it was also the first time JSU claimed a national gold award in the Creativity Category of the "Youth Red Dream-Building Journey" Track.


This year's competition, themed "I Dare to Venture, I Excel in Innovation," attracted 6.19 million projects from 24.43 million participants across 5,673 universities in 161 countries and regions. A total of 4,720 projects advanced to the national finals.
JSU places great emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship education, consistently enhancing students' practical competitiveness through the "dual pathways" of innovation and entrepreneurship training projects and disciplinary competitions. During the preparation for this competition, JSU innovated its working mechanisms, leveraged its educational strengths. Through cultivation, selection, and training, it comprehensively improved the core competitiveness of the participating projects.
At the Jiangsu Provincial Innovation Competition finals held in July this year, JSU won eight first prizes, ten second prizes, and eleven third prizes. Among these, the project "Full Concentration: Core Component Supplier for High-Efficiency Water-Saving Reel Sprinkler Irrigation Machines" ranked first in the Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Category in the province.
