Recently, the well-known domestic research institution on digitalization, August Gua Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute, released the "National Science and Technology Innovation Top 100 Index Report 2025 (Enterprises, Universities, and Research Institutions) in Beijing. The report released the list of the top 50 universities for scientific and technological innovation in China, with JSU ranking 31st.
The report dynamically monitors over 10000 innovation entities nationwide based on three primary indicators including innovation capability, innovation value, and innovation impact, nine secondary indicators and more than 20 tertiary indicators, and selects the top 500 enterprises, top 50 universities, and top 50 research institutions.
This is the seventh year that the August Gua Institute of Science and Technology Innovation releases this report, taking patents, journal papers and other billions of scientific and technological information data covering 178 countries and regions around the world as the core elements, and referring to the official data of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Education, the National Development and Reform Commission, the China National Intellectual Property Administration and other relevant ministries and commissions, as well as the open data of industry associations, to ensure the scientificity, integrity, comprehensiveness and comparability of the data.
