Recently, the results of the 2025 Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM/ICM) were announced, with students from Mengxi College of Jiangsu University (JSU) won one Finalist Award, one Meritorious Winner, one Honorable Mention, and two Successful Participant.

The MCM/ICM, sponsored by the American Mathematical and Applied Sciences Association, is the only international mathematical modeling competition and is currently recognized as the most influential mathematical modeling competition worldwide. This competition focuses closely on current international hot topics, aiming to tap into students' inherent potential in interdisciplinary and applied research, and cultivate their ability to use professional knowledge to establish mathematical models and solve practical problems. The event was held from January 24 to 28 around the world, attracting 27456 teams from all over the world, including Duke University, Columbia University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and many other international top universities.

Since the start of the competition preparation work in December 2024, Mengxi College has carefully arranged a mathematical modeling coaching team to provide systematic pre competition training for the contestants. Through various forms of training activities such as offline course teaching, winter training camp, English paper writing coaching, online pre competition simulation training, and remote guidance, students' practical ability have been effectively improved, laying a solid foundation for achieving excellent results.
