Prof. Yuan Shouqi, Director of the National Pump and System Engineering Technology Research Center and Director of the Asian Fluid Machinery Committee (ranked first among Chinese scholars), has been dedicated to the theoretical and methodological research, engineering practice promotion, discipline and industry development, and talent cultivation of core equipment for agricultural irrigation and drainage for over 40 years. He has led and promoted the development and progress of the agricultural irrigation equipment discipline and industry, and has won two second prizes of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, two National Teaching Achievement Awards, and one Ho Leung Ho Lee Science and Technology Innovation Award.
