Recently, Elsevier, a global information analysis company, published its official list of “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2024”, which uses the globally authoritative citation and indexing database Scopus as the statistical source for scientific research achievements. Multiple indicators are used to systematically present the scientific research contributions and innovation value of Chinese scholars in the field of disciplines. 6388 scholars from 547 universities, enterprises, and research institutions were listed, covering 10 subject areas and 83 first level disciplines of the Ministry of Education. Among them, there is a total of 23 scholars from Jiangsu University (JSU) selected on this list.
The scholars of JSU on the list cover 5 disciplines, including 1 in Economics, 1 in Science, 17 in Engineering, 3 in Medicine, and 1 in Management. It is distributed in 11 first-level disciplines of the Ministry of Education, including 5 in Food Science and Engineering, 3 in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics, 3 in Clinical Medicine and other disciplines.
