Prof. Cai Yingfeng was Elected as the Fellow of the China Society of Automotive Engineers for the year 2024

On Nov. 12, the 31st China-SAE Congress & Exhibition (SAECCE 2024) was held in Chongqing. Vice President of Jiangsu University (JSU) Prof. Cai Yingfeng was elected as a Fellow of the China Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), becoming the youngest Fellow of China SAE.

The Fellow of China SAE is the highest academic honor for members of China SAE, aimed at recognizing experts who have made significant achievements in the development of automotive science and technology and outstanding contributions to industry services. As of now, two professors of JSU have been selected as fellows of China SAE.

Vice President of JSU Prof. Cai Yingfeng, Deputy Director of the Hybrid Vehicle Technology Research Center, Director of the Key Laboratory of New Technology Application of Road Transport Tools in Jiangsu Province, Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Automotive Engineering Association, and leader in traffic and transportation engineering and mechanical engineering (vehicle engineering) of JSU, mainly engaged in the research of automotive intelligent control.

Prof. Cai has won the Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Talent Award of China Automobile Industry and the Top Ten Science and Technology Stars in Jiangsu Province. As the first author, won 2 first prizes in science and technology in Jiangsu Province and 1 first prize in science and technology from the China Highway Society. I have presided over 18 national and provincial research projects, published over 100 papers as the first author/corresponding author in important academic journals and international conferences such as Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, and authorized more than 80 domestic invention patents and 12 PCT patents.
