From May 17 to 19, final review competition of the 14th “Challenge Cup” National College Students Entrepreneurial Plan Competition Jiangsu Provincial Trial was held at Nanjing Medical University. Jiangsu University (JSU) won four gold medals, ranking fourth in the province, and received the Cup of Excellence.

This year's competition, themed "Youth Courageously Meets Challenges, Scientific and Technological Innovation Creates New Achievements", was co-organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League, Jiangsu Education Department, Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, and Jiangsu Students' Federation. A total of 694 projects from 226 universities across the province participated in the competition. After multiple rounds of selection, 317 projects from 109 universities entered the final review competition, ultimately resulting in 79 gold medals.

JSU attaches great importance to the “Challenge Cup” competition. In the first half of 2023, preparations for the competition were initiated. Through university-level competitions, growth camps, and ranking competitions, nine projects were selected and recommended for the provincial online review, all of which advanced to the final review competition in Jiangsu Province. During the preparation period, JSU frequently showed concern for the participating teachers and students. The Youth League Committee regularly organized project guidance, and relevant functional departments provided strong support, ensuring robust backing for the participating teams. Moving forward, JSU will continuously optimize project quality, fully prepare for the national competition, and strive to achieve excellent results in the national competition.
