JSU Wins Important Contribution Award of China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions

On April 12, the kickoff ceremony of China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions (2024) sponsored by the Association of Chinese Graduate Education was held in Wuhan. It comprehensively summarized the progress of the work in the 2023 China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions and officially launched the 2024 competitions.

After awarding the honorable title of "Unit of Important Contribution to the 10-Year Development of China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions", Jiangsu University (JSU) ranked second among the TOP100 annual contribution of postgraduate education units with 905.82 points, and won the " 2023 Important Contribution Unit".



In 2023, JSU planned early, trained diligently, and provided strong guarantees. In the China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions, JSU organized and participated in all 16 themed events and won a total of 143 national awards, including 18 first prizes, 61 second prizes, 64 third prizes, and also won the Outstanding Organization Prize in 9 theme events.

This year, JSU will solidly promote the implementation of the "Action for Cultivating New Generations of the Times" insist on promoting teaching, reform and research through competition, improve the innovation and practice cultivation system and mechanism for postgraduates, constantly strengthen the educational role of innovation competitions, promote and deepen the reform of postgraduate education, and strive to improve the quality of postgraduates cultivation.



China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions is directed by the the Degree and Postgraduate Education Center of the Ministry of Education, and jointly sponsored by the the Association of Chinese Graduate Education and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology. It is currently the only national competition in China recognized and guided by the government specifically for graduate students. After 11 years of development, the series of competitions has gradually grown into a brand competition recognized by governments at all levels, with strong appeal among graduate students and important influence in the industry and society.

This year, China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions will set up 19 competitions and focus on five major areas, including strengthening the chip and replenishing operating system, hard and core technology, basic research, cultural construction, and smart governance. Among the competitions, Open Source Innovation Competition on China Postgraduate Operating System, China Postgraduate "Cultural China" Creative Transformation and Innovative Development Competition and China Postgraduate International Chinese Education Case Competition are new events.
