On January 6^th, Jiangsu University participated in the 12^th China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Innovation Conference held in Beijing. With the theme of “strengthening the deep integration of industry, university and research, and promoting the innovation and development of the privateer economy. The expert team from JSU achieved four awards.

Among the four awards won by our university, Prof. Yuan Shouqi, Chair of University Committee, won the first-class prize of the China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Innovation Achievement Award for the project “High-efficiency and Reliable Device Theory and Technology and Engineering Application of Irrigation and Drainage Pumping Station”. Also, Associate Prof. Xu Xiaoming of School of Automotive & Traffic Engineering won the first-class prize of China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Innovation Achievement Award for the project "Long-term Early Warning, Suppression and Blocking Technology and Industrialization of Thermal Power Bus Remote Control for Hybrid Electric Buses". Vice President Prof. Ding Jianning won the "Industry-University-Research  Collaboration Promotion Award” for individual; Prof. Zhang Hongyin, Associate Dean of School of Food & Biological Engineering, was awarded the “Industry-Institute-Research  Collaboration Innovation Award” for individual.

The Chinese Industry-University-Research  Collaboration Innovation Conference is the most comprehensive and prominent science and technology event in China's scientific and technological circles. It closely follows the theme of industry-university-research  collaboration and the transfer of scientific and technological achievements. JSU has won various awards for three consecutive years, which perfectly demonstrates that the research results of JSU are closely related to the industry, the results have originated from the needs of the industry, and ultimately serve the production of enterprises and improve the scientific research level of enterprises. It also indicates that the effectiveness of the industry-university-research of JSU have been recognized by the society.
