Professor Ye Jianqiao at Lancaster University gives a lecture in JU

January 3, Professor Ye Jianqiao at Lancaster University of the UK visits Jiangsu University and gave a lecture to students and faculties in the campus entitled “Micro Scale Modelling of Composites Materials”.

The lecture presided over by Professor Luo Ying, Dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics was attended by the whole teaching staff and some of the postgraduates of the School. In his presentation, Professor Ye explored the tools and means for microscopic numerical analysis under the coupling conditions of multiple physiochemical fields, worked out in plain words the DEM discrete element modeling and solving, and points out the future research orientations in this field on the basis of his own research achievements of years and current research projects that span several research fields.

As an internationally renowned scientist in the fields of composite materials and structure modeling, Professor Ye Jianqiao has been editor or parallel session leader of international conferences in related fields. He has published 2 monographs and more than 150 papers in top scientific periodicals of the world.
