Professor MEI Qiang won the National Teaching Achievement Award for Higher Education

Jiangsu University (JSU) is among the top winners of the national teaching achievement award for higher education with the 2nd Prize in the list of awards published by China’s Ministry of Education in Dec. 2014. Professor Mei Qiang, Vice President of JSU won the award with his project entitled “The research and practice of tower training model of entrepreneurial talent training for small and medium-sized enterprises”.

JSU is one of the universities offering Entrepreneurship Education early in China. Professor Mei and his team have long been adhering to small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurial management research. In recent 20 years, Professor Mei has published many papers in the field and chaired nearly 10 high level research projects, such as programs sponsored by national social and natural sciences foundation and Projects of International Cooperation and Exchanges.

The National Teaching Achievement Award is one of China’s top national awards in education and science, held every 4 years. The awards are aimed to encourage the innovations in education thoughts, talent training mechanism as well as training mode.
