Ms. Tang Rong at Simmons College appointed as guest professor of JS

On the afternoon of June 12, a ceremony for appointing Ms. Tang Rong at Simmons College of the US as a guest professor of Jiangsu University was held in the F1 Lecture Hall of Jiangsu University Library. The letter of appointment was granted by Yuan Run, Secretary of the Jiangsu University Library Party General Branch, to Ms. Tang Rong, who later gave an academic presentation to the librarians, the postgraduates of the Scientific Information Institute and the students from the School of Management and the School of Art. The title of Ms. Tang’s lecture is “Aspects of studies on customer behaviors and their measurement”.

Ms. Tang Rong is currently an associate professor at Simmons College of the US, whose research orientations mainly include serviceability and customer experience. By now she has published 35 papers in authoritative periodicals on library and information science indexed by SCI and SSCI. She heads or participates in more than 10 projects sponsored by such famous institutions as the NASA, Harvard University and the American Society for Information Science and Technology.
