Professor Sun Jianzhong awarded first prize at international conference

Recently, Professor Sun Jianzhong at Jiangsu University was invited to deliver a speech entitled “Harnessing the Cellulosic Biofuels：Novel Approaches to Achieve the Efficient and Economic Biorefinery”at the 4th International Conference on Biorefinery towards Bioenergy, which was attended by more than 200 professors, experts, postgraduates and enterprise researchers from over 10 countries and areas including China.

In his presentation, after synopsizing the main scientific and technological challenges facing the efficient degradation and conversion of lignocellulose into biofules, Professor Sun Jianzhong elaborated on the idea of process engineering bionics and related applications. In the scoring by conference delegates, Professor Sun’s report got the highest score and was awarded a first prize for the best conference presentations.
