A few days ago, Dr. Zhu Jianping, Vice President of Cleveland State University headed a group of professors to pay a friendly visit to Jiangsu University. They were greeted by Prof. Chen Long, Vice President of Jiangsu University and the meeting ceremony was attended by personnel concerned from the International Office and the School of Finance and Economics.

The talks were held in the Meeting Room of the School of Finance and Economics, where Vice President Chen Long introduced to his guests the history, the status quo and the globalization strategy of Jiangsu University and expressed his wishes to carry out comprehensive cooperation between the two universities after giving them a heartfelt welcome. Then Dr. Zhu Jianping outlined the strengths and features of the discipline and course setting of Cleveland State University, dwelling on the international cooperation work of his university, especially the cooperation with institutions of higher learning in China’s mainland. Then they negotiated on the affairs concerning the joint training of postgraduates that mainly include language requirement, GPA, yearly educational planning, student management, etc. Agreements were reached in the end.
