JSU Students Win Grand Prize in 2023 National College Students Robotics Competition

Recently, the final round of the 2023 National College Students Robotics Science and Technology Innovation Exchange Camp and Robotics Competition was held in Rizhao, Shandong Province. Jiangsu University (JSU)’s entry "Intellectual Life-a new kind of energy-saving vacuum dryer for household cleaning " (Participating students: Xu Xubin, Pei Zhiyang. Instructors: Fang Zhuoya, Wang Yifang) was selected as a finalist and won the Grand Prize, creating the best achievement of JSU in this competition.



It is reported that the National College Students Robotics Science and Technology Innovation Exchange Camp and Robotics Competition is a national competition co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, acting as an important carrier for the Communist Youth League to serve the science and technology innovation of college students. The competition attracted a total of 1017 entries from 431 colleges and universities in 30 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. 50 grand prizes, 74 first prizes, 94 second prizes and 300 third prizes were finally selected after preliminary evaluation of materials, project display and expert inquiry. The competition adheres to the orientation of science, innovation and practice. It is dedicated to stimulating the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of college students in learning robotics knowledge, exchanging robotics technology, spreading robotics culture, engaging in the robotics industry, and tackling key problems of robotics core technologies, so as to promote the integrated development of education, science and technology and talents in the field of robotics.
