Li Hongbo has been appointed Party Secretary of Jiangsu University (JSU), while Xing Weihong has been named its President, the Organization Department of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee made the announcement at JSU on May 22.
Yuan Shouqi and Yan Xiaohong, JSU’s former Party Secretary and President, will no longer serve in their posts, the announcement said.
Li Hongbo, born in 1971, served in different posts, including Vice Party Secretary, Assistant President, Director of Student Affairs Office, Secretary of Youth League Committee, Vice Party Secretary and Vice Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and School of Public Administration, and Vice Secretary of Youth League Committee of Jiangsu University.
Xing Weihong, born in 1968, served in different posts, including Vice President, Dean of Hi-Tech Research Institute, and Vice Dean of College of Chemical Engineering of Nanjing Tech University.
