The 28th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium was held at Bogor Agricultural University (Indonesia) from November 7 to 11, 2022. 12 teacher and student participants of Jiangsu University (JSU) attended this event online.
The theme for this year’s event was “Population, Food, Energy, Environment and Technosociopreneur”. The whole event attracted about 60 online and offline participants from 9 universities in 5 countries including China, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia.
At the opening ceremony, President of Bogor Agricultural University (Indonesia) Prof. Arif Satria delivered the opening speech. President of JSU (China) Prof. Yan Xiaohong, Vice President of Guangxi University (China) Prof. Fan Zuojun, President of Mie University (Japan) Prof. Ito Masaaki, President of Chiang Mai University (Thailand) Prof. Pongruk Sribanditmongkol delivered congratulatory speeches respectively.

During the event, all the participants fully demonstrated their research results, promoted exchanges, and deepened mutual learning and understanding. The seminar and symposium set up a total of 13 awards for the most excellent academic performance, best paper presentation awards, and our university’s participants won 2 best paper presentation awards with outstanding performances.
The Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium has become a branded project of student and staff exchange among Jiangsu University (China), Mie University (Japan), Chiang Mai University (Thailand) , Bogor Agricultural University(Indonesia) and Guangxi University (China) after 28 years’ development. It provides a platform to demonstrate the international competence of students in the international arena.
