Recently, China’s Ministry of Education (MoE) announced the List of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Majors for 2021. Ten majors of Jiangsu University (JSU) were selected as national first-class undergraduate majors, and twelve  majors were selected as Jiangsu provincial first-class undergraduate majors.
To date JSU has 40 national first-class undergraduate majors and 13 provincial first-class undergraduate majors. The number of ranked majors now allows JSU to be ranked among the top Jiangsu provincial universities.
In accordance with the requirements of the MoE for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors, JSU will further improve the planning of major development; deepen teaching reforms, strengthen the major characteristics, strive to create landmark achievements, and continuously improve the level of major development and talent education quality.
