JSU Won Several Awards in the 16th China Graduate Electronic Design Competition

Recently, the 16th China Graduate Electronic Design Competition came to an end. Jiangsu University (JSU) won 1 first prize and 3 second prizes in the technology-class competition, and 1 third prize in the business-class competition. The first prize work "Linear Plant Protection Drone" also won the Outstanding Paper Award and was nominated for the Top 10 National Finals. JSU won the National Finals Excellent Organization Award, and 6 instructors, namely Shen Yue, Yang Ning, Li Haoran, Ding Shihong, Liu Hui, and Sun Yueping, won the title of Excellent Instructor.


The China Postgraduate Electronic Design Competition is one of the largest and most influential competitions in the China Graduate Innovation Practice Series. It is guided by the Degree Management and Graduate Education Department, as well as the Degree and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, and is jointly organized by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, Chinese Society of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education and the Youth Science and Technology Center of Chinese Association for Science and Technology.

A total of 5,120 teams participated in this competition. In the preliminary round of the East China Division, a total of 22 teams from JSU participated (20 technology-class competitions and 2 business-class competitions), winning 8 first prizes, 5 second prizes, and 2 third prizes, a total of 5 teams advanced to the national finals.

In August, 427 teams composed of more than 1,200 students from more than 150 participating units across the country participated in the national finals. In the end, 68 national first prizes were determined, with a winning rate of 1.3%; 133 second prizes, with a winning rate of 2.6%.
