On Mar. 16th, the promotion meeting for the National Key R&D Program ---"Research and Development on the Technologies and Equipment of Multi-Functional Field Management Operation" was held in Zhenjiang. Chen Xuegeng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Prof. Yuan Shouqi, Chair of Committee of Jiangsu University (JSU), Yang Jingxue, Director of China Rural Technology Development Center of Ministry of Science and Technology, Hu Xiaolu, Director of Agricultural Machinery Program of China Rural Technology Development Center, Yao Ping, Agricultural Machinery Specialist of China Rural Technology Development Center, and more than 40 representatives from 15 units including China Academy of Agricultural Machinery, China Agricultural University, Zhejiang University and Jilin University attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yang Xuejun, Chief Expert of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Machinery.

At the meeting, Prof. Yuan Shouqi extended a warm welcome to the participants and introduced the history, scientific research and teaching achievements of JSU. He hoped that JSU and the participants could further the cooperation in research. Academician Chen Xuegeng advocated the application of research advances.
The persons in charge of each project reported on the project progress, achievements, fund use, challenges and suggestions for the project. The experts presented their opinions and suggestions on the implementation of each project. Hu Xiaolu explained the performance evaluation of project inspection.
After the meeting, the experts visited Jiangsu Runguo Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.
