Recently, Clarivate Analytics released the latest World-Class Discipline Ranking Data in May 2020. The ranking of relevant disciplines of Jiangsu University has reached a new high and our international influence has risen again.

JSU ranks 47^th in China, 3 places higher than the previous ranking, and ranks 751^st globally. It is the first time JSU steps into the Top 800, 73 places higher than the previous ranking. The ranking of seven disciplines in the Top 1% of the world's disciplines ranking have been greatly improved: Engineering ranked 211^st, increased by 39 places, from 1.58 ‰ to 1.37 ‰; Agricultural Science ranked 240^th, increased by 44 places, from 3.17 ‰ to 2.76 ‰; Chemistry increased by 33 places, up to 1.76 ‰; Materials Science increased by 30 places, up to 2.18 ‰; Clinical Medicine increased by 71 places, Pharmacology and toxicology increased by 70 places, and Biology and Biochemistry increased by 98 places.

In addition, Shanghai Ranking’s Academic Ranking of World Universities has officially released the "2020 University Rankings of China". JSU ranks 72^nd nationwide, increased 13 places from 85^th of last year. The objects of the "2020 University Rankings of China " are more than 1,200 universities including undergraduate-level in China. Its evaluation system has 10 modules, subdivided into 30 evaluation dimensions, and embedded hundreds of evaluation indicators. The ranking is a three-dimensional monitoring and evaluation of Chinese universities, attaches great importance to talents cultivation, and emphasizes that serving the country is the 2 most important features of the its index ranking index system.
