From May 12th to the 14th, Jiangsu-Level Competition of the third “China Exploration Sports & Cultural Competition for Overseas Students " was held at Jiangsu University. This event was organized jointly by the Department of Education of Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Province University Sports Association and Jiangsu University. A total of nearly 300 international students from 17 participating teams from colleges and universities in the province participated in the competition. Vice President Mei Qiang and Deputy Director Han Xiaojie of Internation Office of the Provincial Department of Education visited the event and awarded honorary certificates to the winners.

    Under the careful planning and organization of Jiangsu University Games Organizing Committee, the orienteering, 3×3 basketball match and sports art shows were successfully carried out. The participants worked hard and demonstrated high standards. After a fierce competition, the host team of Jiangsu University performed outstandingly and won first place in all three competitions. In the end, the teams from Jiangsu University, Yangzhou University, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics won the top three overall rankings and successfully advanced to the Southeast Division.

    The competition follows the principles of "Sports-based, cultur centered, teamwork and Chinese-foreign integration." It aims to enrich the cultural life of international students and to provide a platform for international students through sports events and sports talent performances. It also builds a bridge for communication between Chinese and foreign students and promotes the exchange and integration of Chinese and foreign students.
