Dr. He Wei at Statoil Invited to Give an Academic Lecture in JU

On July 4th, Dr. He Wei, a principal engineer at Statoil, was invited to visit Jiangsu University and delivered a speech titled “The World’s Leading Offshore Wind Power Generation Technology” in the Lecture Hall 1419 of the School of Energy and Power Engineering.

In her presentation, Dr. He Wei highlighted the offshore oil platform technology and the latest development and achievements in the world’s leading offshore wind power generation technology. She wound up her speech by relating her own story of having studied, worked and lived for 22 years as a Chinese woman engineer in North Europe and presenting to the audience her signed autobiographies called A Chinese Woman in North Europe. After the speech is over, He Wei entered into face-to-face exchanges with a number of teachers and students present at her lecture.
