On Mar. 30, Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial government held the 2020 Summary and Commendation Meeting for High-Quality Development. Prof. Yuan Shouqi, Chair of University Committee of Jiangsu University (JSU), attended the meeting and received the award.

The meeting released the assessment and commended listed regions, units and universities. JSU ranked the First Grade in Jiangsu Provincial Key Universities Supported (Cultivated) for High-Quality Development and the University Authorized to Offer Doctoral Degrees. It scored in the forefront of other high-level universities in Party Building, High-quality Development, University Running Satisfaction Survey and Comprehensive Assessment.

2020 is a landmark year in the history of JSU development. The whole university thoroughly studied Xi Jinping Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, and fully implemented the party’s educational policy. For years, JSU has adhered to the path of “Being deeply rooted in agriculture, integrating and motivating agriculture and engineering”. To serve the development requirements of the “six high-qualities” from Jiangsu Provincial government and build a new Jiangsu Province that is strong, prosperous and beautiful, JSU dedicates itself into the pivotal moral education and agricultural modernization in its high-quality development towards a first-class university with agricultural machinery characteristics.
