An inter-university exchange and cooperation agreement signed

On June 17, a 4-member delegation from Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada visited Jiangsu University for international cooperation and exchange. The delegation members were Dr.Paul Jessop, dean of Faculty of Science, Dr. Peter Donahue, director of International Office, professors Hongbing Fan and Zongsen Wu. Jiangsu University vice president Xu Huaxi had a meeting with the visitors. In the morning, Dr. Paul Jessop and professor Hongbing Fan made academic lectures entitled “Silicon --based Photonic Integrated Circuits and WLU photonics” and “Reconfigurable computing and WLU computer program” for teachers and students from School of Mechanic Engineering and School of Computer Science and Engineering. After the lectures, Dr. Peter Donahue made an introduction of Wilfrid Laurier University. In the afternoon,we had a talk with the Canadian delegation about further cooperation in students training.
