President Yuan Shouqi makes keynote speech at 26th IAHR Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems

Recently, the 26th IAHR Symposium on Hydraulic Machinery and Systems sponsored by Tsinghua University and co-sponsored by Jiangsu University was held in Beijing. 361 hydraulic machinery experts and representatives of enterprises from 27 countries and regions attended the symposium, and 145 of them were from China.

At the opening ceremony, Jiangsu University president Yuan Shouqi, on behalf of the Chinese researchers of hydraulic machinery, made a speech, introducing the current situation of Chinese research in hydraulic machinery, expressing a sincere hope that the researchers from home and abroad have an adequate academic exchange , establish international cooperation channels and work together to improve the hydraulic machinery research and relevant products. President Yuan was also invited to deliver a keynote speech, introducing Jiangsu University Fluid Machinery Center’s academic achievements. Research professor Li Hong served as the chairwoman of more than one panel sessions, and 13 postgraduate students made oral reports of their research findings.
