Enjoy Learning Chinese and Experience Chinese Culture

“Austrian Karl Franzens University Graz Confucius Institute Summer Camp” started in Jiangsu University on July 20, 2012, which is the second Austrian summer camp in Jiangsu University consecutively, aiming to consolidate the platform of the cultural communication between Chinese students and Austrian students, to promote Chinese internationally.

Besides learning Chinese language, dough modeling and shadow-boxing, Austrian students had table tennis and badminton competition, went to Zhenjiang Municipal Recreation Center for Senior Citizens, sharing Chinese calligraphy and painting with the old artists from the Municipal Calligraphy and Painting Association. They also visited Zhenjiang Vinegar Museum, Xijin Ferry, Jinshan Park and some other tourist attractions.

The visiting Austrian students expressed their love for Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, China, as well as Chinese culture with volunteers at the Closing Ceremony and Farewell Party, singing and dancing to their heart’s content.
