On May 23, the ceremony of appointing Professor Paul R. Hanson from Kansas University part-time professor of Jiangsu University was held in the No. 3 Lecture Hall of Jiangsu University Conference Center.

Jiangsu University vice president and deputy party chief Yao Guanxin granted professor Hanson an appointment certificate and pinned a university emblem for him. After the ceremony, Professor Hanson made a speech about the application of asymmetric synthesis in drug discovery. Assistant professor Michael Robin also made an introduction about his recent research. Professor Xu Ximing, dean of School of Pharmacy , hosted the appointing ceremony and the academic reports.
