Four professors from National University of Singapore visit JU

Invited by School of Environment, Professor Lee Heow Pueh, deputy director of the Department of Mechanics from National University of Singapore and the NUSRI project leader of Suzhou Industrial Park visited School of Environment of Jiangsu University with other three professors Khoo Boo Cheong, Lim Siak Piang and Lim Kian Meng. On the morning of November 14th, Wu Xiangyang, dean of School of Environment, and Zhang Jiuru, party secretary, met with director Lee in the No 2 Lecture Hall of Conference Center. Professor Wu introduced Jiangsu University and School of Environment. The two sides had a communication and exchange in scientific research cooperation, personnel training and so on in order to have a cooperative study in the areas of water pollution control engineering and air pollution control engineering. The School of Environment is ready to conduct exchanges and cooperation with the Suzhou Research Institute of National University of Singapore. The two sides have formed a preliminary intention in graduate education, joint application for research projects and teacher training.
